Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height, parallel to the floor. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, bend your torso to the right, reaching your right hand down toward your shin, ankle, or the floor, depending on your flexibility. Simultaneously, stretch your left arm upward, in line with your shoulders, and turn your gaze toward the raised hand. Keep both legs straight and ensure that your body is in one plane, avoiding any forward bending. Hold the posture for a few deep breaths, feeling the stretch along your waist, spine, and legs. To release, inhale and return to the starting position, then repeat on the opposite side.
